Annual Charity and Plant Market
The Newcastle Annual Charity and Plant market takes place on the Spring Bank Holiday in May each year. Around 30 charities take over the market for the day to raise much needed funds and promote awareness of good causes. Local plant nurseries also offer the opportunity to stock up on hanging baskets, patio pots and summer bedding plants for the garden and children’s entertainment takes place around the Guildhall.
